From Tim’s Keyboard…
My week at the
President’s Convocation was a great experience. Over seven hundred pastors,
teachers, principals, music directors and DCEs were in attendance. One
highlight for me was when I saw an old roommate from my Dallas, Texas days who
had become a pastor. Seeing our old vicar friends like Ross and AJ was also a
treat. What really stands out for me personally was the “pick up” choir that
was put together for the Friday closing worship service. They sang my
“Invocation” piece like I’ve never heard it before. I’m hoping someone
recorded the event so I can share that sound with you.
Back home now, it’s
time for Sanctuary Choir to begin again. We will meet on Wednesdays
at 7:00 PM.
I know we will have some new voices this year. If you want to come on board
you are most welcome. Praise Team still meets at
6:30 PM on Tuesdays.
Plenty of room there for new folks as well.
Rehearsals for “I
Saw A Light,” our Christmas Musical performed by the kids is also getting
underway this month. A preschool project is in the works too!
