Russel Porter, LMHC

Russ Porter is a psychotherapist with more than 18 years experience. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a certified supervisor for mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists in the state of Florida. He has extensive experience working with children, adults, couples, and families in both residential and outpatient settings.

Russ graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in 1990, earning a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. There he learned not only the theory and skills of Family Therapy, but also how counseling fits with God’s design for humanity. He is trained to recognize the delicate balance of counseling with the mind of Christ, while avoiding spiritual manipulation or proselytizing.

Russ has been married for 18 years to Karan, a gifted artist, and has been blessed with two sons, Brendon and Chase.

Leslie Miller, LMHC

Leslie Miller began working as a psychotherapist in 1983 after she received her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a certified supervisor for mental health counselors in the state of Florida. She is certified IMAGO therapist which focuses on effective communication and healthy relationships. She is also a certified EMDR therapist helping people process through trauma and self-defeating thoughts and behavior.

She has been married for 32 years to David who is the senior pastor of a local Presbyterian church and has three college age children.

Her greatest joy is to see God, the Wonderful Counselor, bring healing, hope, and renewal into peoples lives. Her areas of specialty include: marriage, relationship, and individual issues; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, women's life challenges, adolescent and college age issues, gender identity, depression, and anxiety disorders, and professional ministry/clergy concerns.
