Children & Family Ministry
SUNDAY SCHOOL: Sundays @ 9:30 am
NURSERY:
During Education Hour, we provide Nursery care for Newborns – 2 years of age.
Children can be dropped off and picked up from Classroom #1.
PRE-SCHOOL CLASS: This class is for children 3-5 years of age who are not yet in Kindergarten. Classroom #1.
ROTATION
STATION:
Children in Kindergarten – 5th grade are encouraged to join us every week for
the opening
of Rotation Station in the North End of the Fellowship Hall. From there
children break into their individual classes.
K-5 will be studying Gideon in January and Peter in February.
MIDDLE SCHOOL: Youth in grades 6-8 meet in the far North End of Fellowship Hall for Bible History.
HIGH SCHOOL: Youth in grades 9-12 gather in the Youth Room.
If you would like to be a guest baker, guest game leader, or guest craft-person, please email OBAR13@aol.com and we will accommodate your schedule and provide any assistance and materials you need.
We will continue to develop leaders and facilitate teamwork in our Call to Ministry with our BASIC Teams. Check out the logos for the BASIC (Brother And Sisters In Christ) Teams on the bulletin boards in the Sunday School room!
We still need helpers for all grades - preschool through middle school. (Yes, middle school! We have been blessed with many 6-8 graders and teachers Gerry Chisnel and Leslie Coleman could use an assistant so they can each take a Sunday off every now and then!) No experience, no preparation, no work involved. Just love children and care about our Congregation’s future and BE THERE! Please sign up on schedule in Sunday School room or email Jan Swearingen at OBAR13@aol.com so we direct your assistance to the dates and rotations that need help most. Would you consider skipping Bible class 1 hour per quarter? Might you be willing to come to church an hour early, or stay an hour late at church four hours per year?
